We all know about the United States’ love of guns. I mean they really, really love them. They’re everywhere, and they’re not crazy expensive, making gun ownership accessible to nearly every home in the USA. The idea is that the people are able to defeat and remove any government that becomes tyrannical. When you weaponize ideologues who do not question what you tell them, then tell these followers that they are facing a tyrant, they will believe it. When you then get your PR team to distribute the “official story” to all your talking heads that populate every screen that citizens need to arm themselves to stop law enforcement from enforcing the law, they will do so.
Jay Jones said he wanted his opponent’s children murdered in front of him so that he “knew suffering”, then doubled down on the same; he was elected despite this. Key Leftist leaders have for years repeated called to “eliminate”, “put in the bullseye”, and similar verbiage indicating finality, Trump; he was an assassination target at least twice. They told their followers that Charlie Kirk was a monster, which they believed without question, and he was killed in a gory display in front of his family and the world. The immediate reaction was celebratory. A group of people started chanting “USA” while first responders were examining the body. Champagne corks popped, happy dances were danced, his wife was called a whore, crowds cheered. And when his supporters tried to peacefully carry on his work of trying to get people to sit down and resolve problems through discussion, they too were violently attacked. If Johnny is dependent on you for everything, when you tell Johnny to get his gun, a gun is what his gonna get.

Today’s scene: this man is getting his 15 minutes of fame patrolling his neighborhood with an AR-15. Oddly, the same ideology he’s arming himself on behalf of is the same bunch that want to ban weapons like that. Imagine that. Why is this man carrying an anti-personnel weapon of war through his suburban neighborhood – where life is about as soft and privileged as Mister Bigglesworth before the cryo pod? Just in case immigration enforcement agents try to enforce the laws that they are paid to enforce.
First off, what are you going to do there, Zach Galifianakis? Take on a bunch of trained federal agents from your lawn chair? Johnny here is on a suicide mission; he isn’t the first. I don’t doubt for a second that Johnny is serious about pointing that rifle at ICE agents. That part is irrelevant to Johnny; as long as he gets validation from the hive, his personal safety is secondary. Kind of like using your vehicle to threaten or attack law enforcement, it’s a “what in the hot holy fuck?” moment where every natural instinct, every shred of common sense, goes completely out the window. All so the narrative of radicalization can get amplified, over and over again, making martyrs out of manslaughterers.
The feedback mechanism is broken. Last month, driving your car forward into protesters as they surround you and attack you in order to escape was a near-demonic and unforgivable thing to do. This week, you’re a hero for doing the same, only far worse. Normal, sane, healthy, free-thinking individuals can see how this could lead to disaster. Those indoctrinated, however, believe their actions – even though instigative, aggressive, violent, threatening, or any of the things the progressive, tolerant, inclusive Left claims to hate – are ALL justified. Not for any rational reason of course, but they believe it with the absolute sureness of the truly religious fanatic. Nobody can tell them otherwise. In fact, reality itself will be bent and reshaped to create a narrative that supports the actions, one that will not be questioned. Not even if it is patently, obviously, “Well, d-uh” untrue.
A world of absolutes is a world of death. Nobody wants everyday people to die, but when those everyday people become increasingly dangerous and unstable, they cease to be everyday people and become enemies of a stable society. The inmates run the asylum, and they’re armed with automatic weapons. Anyone opposing their very extreme ideology has been dehumanized in the groupthink. Kirk was barely human to his haters; he had been made into a caricature. When he died, all base, core human instincts and appropriate emotional responses were completely absent, and had been severed for some time, among the Jimmy Kimmel-loving crowd. There was zero ambiguity from the Left: murder was a good thing.
Well, the reality is that murder in not good. That knowledge is hard-coded into pretty much every animal with legs or wings. For someone to reject that coding is to reject the very essence of all complex life. It’s not something a person arrives at naturally, on their own. If this blog helps even one person not go down that road, it will have been worth it. Johnny needs to be home with his kids. He needs to unplug from the internet for a while. He needs to try and remember when hate wasn’t by far the dominant daily emotional state. Because Johnny, your group doesn’t have the military, and you’ve burned your bridges with law enforcement. You’ve got an AR? MAGA hat across the street owns 8 of them and spends his weekends hunting and range shooting. You will not fare well in this civil war you seem so desperate to rush towards.
